As a former employee of a cellphone service provider, I am happy to see a requirement for Handsfree Cellphone units while driving. In listening to the brief report about this on the news I also heard that those under the age of 18 are not allowed to use cellphones while driving - handsfree or not.
I have had a cellphone for quite a few years and except for rare occassions, I never answered it while driving. In the last year or more, I only use with handsfree attachment. My husband refuses to even turn his on while in the car. I disagree with that and we discussed that if he at least had it on, he would see who was calling then make a decision whether or not to answer - using handsfree, of course - and/or pulling over.
Just our thoughts on the subject.
