~Here We Go~

* NOTES *
- My tutorials are only a guide - use your own creativity to make your tag unique to you.
- My Tag's final size is 590x590 so I will not be including the actual percentages with which I resized the Elements.
- I typically add Drop Shadows once I'm finished adding everything.
- I did not use Raster Layers 2 and 11 of the Template.

Raster 4 - Select All; Float; Defloat; Selections; Modify; Expand by 1. Open Paper 4; copy and paste into Selection; select none.

Copy and paste Tree2 above Raster 4; Mirror. Apply optional Corona:
EyeCandy 4000 Corona:
Glow Width    13.65
Flare Size     5.04
Stretch        100
Waver        23
Blur        0
Overall Opacity    100
Color        #5f4620

Raster 3 - Select All; Float; Defloat; Selections; Modify; Expand by 1. Open Paper 5; copy and paste as New Layer.  Move the paper so the area you like will be displayed in the rectangle.  Invert selection; hit delete on paper; select none.

Raster 5 - Select All; Float; Defloat; Selections; Modify; Expand by 1. Open Paper 2; copy and paste into Selection; select none.

Raster 6 - Select All; Float; Defloat; Selections; Modify; Expand by 1. Open Paper 1; copy and paste into Selection; select none.

Raster 7 - Select All; Float; Defloat; Selections; Modify; Expand by 1. Open your Close-up Tube; copy and paste as New Layer. Position where you like, but make sure that it fills the entire half-circle.  Invert selection; hit delete on tube; select none. Use a Blend Mode that you like.  Merge visible with the Paper 1 layer.

Raster 8 - Select All; Float; Defloat; Selections; Modify; Expand by 1. Open Paper 7; copy and paste as New Layer.  Move the paper so the area you like will be displayed in the rectangle.  Invert selection; hit delete on paper; select none.

Raster 9 - Repeat above using same Paper.

Raster 10 - For my tube/tag I found it a bit bright, so I adjusted the Brightness/Contrast a bit.  You can do whatever works best for your tag.

Copy and paste your Tube. Add other elements to decorate your tag; I used Moon, Candle, Black Cat, Dead Grass, Empty Lantern, Broken Glass.

Add Drop Shadows to your layers.

I cropped then re-sized all layers. When you re-size, be sure to sharpen as needed.

Now add the proper Crediting. Adding them after resizing your tag will ensure that they remain crisp; clear; and easy to read.

Now add your Name.

Thank you for trying my tutorial.  Any ideas contained that are similar to others are purely coincidental.  Do not copy and claim as your own.  Group Owners may link to my tutorial.

~Here We Go~

* NOTE * For my tag, I recolored all of the "Glitter" layers to #593829 using PSP's Manual Color Correction. (Raster 5, 7, 9, 11, and 14) When I finished adding papers and/or tubes to the layers that had these frames, I merged visible and re-named with original Raster Layer Names used in the Template.  For example, Raster 7 is the glitter frame for Raster 3. When merged visible, name is RASTER 3.

For my personal taste, the template is quite large. I re-sized all layers so that the end result is less than 600x600 (on a duplicate of course). Delete credit layer and Raster 15.

One layer at a time, on Raster 8 and Raster 10, perform these same steps. Select All; Float; Defloat; copy and paste Paper 13. Selections; Invert; hit Delete on paper layer. Select none. Delete template layer.

On Raster 10 circle Select All; Float; Defloat; copy and paste Close-Up; position to your liking; Selections; Invert; hit Delete on tube layer. Select none. Change Blend Mode to one that suits your tag.

Repeat for the Raster 8 circle. Depending upon the look you want, perhaps use a different blend mode.

On Raster 3 Circle Select All; Float; Defloat. Duplicate layer; keep selected. Open Paper 4; copy; Paste Into Selection. Select None.  Delete template layer.

Open Lanterns; Copy and paste; mirror; re-size as needed; place where you like best.

On Raster 2 Circle Select All; Float; Defloat. Duplicate layer; keep selected. Open Paper 9; copy; Paste Into Selection. Select None.  Delete template layer.

On Raster 12 Select All; Float; Defloat; copy and paste Paper 11; position over the rectangles to your liking. Selections; Invert; hit Delete on paper layer. Select none. Delete template layer.

Open Fog; copy and paste above the Raster 12 layers; position where you like.

Open Moon 2; copy and paste; re-size to fit your tag; place below Raster 12 rectangles.

Open Bird 3; copy and paste; re-size to fit your tag; place above Moon.

On Raster 4 Select All; Float; Defloat; Modify; Expand by 1. Copy and paste Paper 3; position to your liking. Selections; Invert; hit Delete on paper layer. Select none. Delete template layer.

Open Skeleton 2, copy and paste above Paper 3; re-size as needed; place where desired.

Open Magic, copy and paste; Rotate 90 Degrees (left or right). Place to left or right side of tag; send layer to bottom. Duplicate; image; mirror. This element will appear differently on white background than it does on black background.

Copy and paste your Tube as top layer. Add other elements to decorate your tag; I used Cauldron, Candle, Books, Flower, Grass.

I cropped then re-sized all layers my final tag dimensions are 591x536. When you re-size, be sure to sharpen as needed.

Now add the proper Crediting. Adding them after resizing your tag will ensure that they remain crisp; clear; and easy to read.

Now add your Name. I used the Wizards Magic Font and added Noise and small Gradient Glow.

Thank you for trying my tutorial.  Any ideas contained that are similar to others are purely coincidental.  Do not copy and claim as your own.  Group Owners may link to my tutorial.

PinUpToons "Fall Blessings" PTU

Today I have a few "Fall Blessings" Extra Tags for you using the PTU kit from Redefined Designs, available at Pimpin' PSPers Warehouse.  I paired the wonderful kit with one of my favorite artists, PinUpToons.

As always, Extra Tags are to be used as-is - they are not to be modified in any way.  You do not have permission to add names or other text.  In addition, they should not be used as Facebook Timeline Covers.  The Crediting requirements are different; not to mention that the dimensions are different from Tags.

Zlata Fall Heels - PTU

This tutorial was written August 26, 2013 by me.  Any ideas contained that are similar to others are purely coincidental.  Do not copy and claim as your own.  Group Owners may link to my tutorial.

SUPPLIES USED:
- I used PaintShopPro XI
- Tube and Close-up of Choice. For my tag I chose Zlata_M, available from The PSP Project.  Do not use the artwork without a License.
- The PTU scrapkit I used is "The Calming Of Fall" by Karra's Kreative Korner which you can purchase at Pimpin' PSPers Warehouse.
- Simone Template 83 - If you download, please say thank you.
- Filter: Xero - Porcelain
- Filter: EyeCandy 4 - Gradient Glow
- Font of Choice - I used Great Vibes (a free font)

~Here We Go~

This template has a Resolution of 762 Pixels Per Inch - you might want to Resize and change that to 72ppi (on your duplicate of course).

Open Paper 11; copy; Paste above Large Rectangle layer.  Resize paper 75%.

On Large Rectangle Select All; Float; Defloat; Modify; Expand by 1.  With Move Tool, place the paper where you like.  Invert Selection; click delete on Paper.  Select None.  Delete template layer.

On Right Rectangle layer Select All; Float; Defloat; Modify; Expand by 1.  Duplicate layer; keep selected.  Open Paper 3; copy; Paste Into Selection.  Select None.  Delete template layer.

On Small Circle layer Select All; Float; Defloat; Modify; Expand by 2.  Duplicate layer; keep selected.  Open Paper 6; copy; Paste Into Selection.  Select None.  Delete template layer.

I did not modify the Large Circle - Merge visible with small circle's paper.  Copy and paste Flower 2 above this merged layer.  Resize to fit and move into position.  Change the Blend Mode to Multiply.

On Left Rectangle layer Select All; Float; Defloat; Modify; Expand by 1.  Duplicate layer; keep selected.  Open Paper 7; copy; Paste Into Selection.  Select None.  Delete template layer.

On Square layer Select All; Float; Defloat; Modify; Expand by 1.  Duplicate layer; keep selected.  Open Paper 4; copy; Paste Into Selection.  Select None.  I also added close-up tube and changed Blend Mode to Screen.

On Row of Squares layer, Fill with Color #95723c (Kit Color).  Apply Texture/Weave with these settings:
Gap 1
Width 2
Opacity 6
Fill Gaps - Weave & Gap Color #352a19 (Kit Color)

For my tag, I resized the wordart 90%.  With Magic Wand select the 5 and the " marks.  Copy and paste Close-up of your Tube.  Keep selected - copy and paste Paper 1.

Invert selection; hit Delete on tube layer and paper layer.  Select non.

Apply Xero Porcelain to close-up tube (Default settings).  Change Blend Mode to Soft Light.

On the paper, I applied a very thin Black Gradient Glow.  You could also use a thin dark drop shadow.

I left the two dotted layers as-is.

Add whatever other elements from the kit that you would like to decorate your tag with.  I used:  Scatter, Leaves 1, Flower Cluster, Squirrel, Bird, and Birdhouse.

I resized all layers so that my tag would be less than 600x600.

Add Drop Shadows as you see fit for your layers.

Now select your Font and add your Name.

Add the proper Crediting for the artwork you are using.

Delete the white background layer; merge visible; save tag in PNG Format.

Thank you for trying my tutorial.

"The Calming Of Fall" - Cluster & Tags

I have a new cluster frame - actually more of a "scene".  Before I began creating the cluster, I had this specific artwork in mind and went from there.  The gorgeous kit is by Karra's Kreative Korner called "The Calming Of Fall".  You must visit Pimpin' PSPers Warehouse and check out all the wonderful goodies inside this kit for yourself.

Here is the preview of the cluster - downloadable PNG version is below.  As always, frame is for personal use only; do not change File Name; do not share; send friends to my blog to download.

Cluster_GemLC_26
Here are a few Extra Tags that I created with my cluster using the wonderful artwork of Paul John Ballard (was with CILM when I purchased this tube).  They are to be used as-is - they are not to be modified in any way.  You do not have permission to add names to them or to convert them into Facebook Timeline Covers.

Alex Prihodko & My CT Cluster

When I created the cluster frame with "Rainforest Adventure" by Jackie's Jewels, I was thinking adventure ... at the time, I had not checked my PFD account.  Then today I suddenly had an idea for a tag; I added a few more elements from the awesome kit and this is my result.

CT - Vintage Blues Cluster & Extras

I hope you will enjoy what I have created with Kissing Kate's lovely "Vintage Blues" kit.  It is available for purchase at Pimpin' PSPers Warehouse.  Often times when I think vintage, I think of Marilyn Monroe and others from "old" Hollywood.

I've created a Cluster Frame for your personal use and some Extra Tags. It is in PNG format; click then save-as.

The tags must be used as-is; they are not to be modified in any way; do not add names to them.
