CT - Vintage Blues Cluster & Extras
I hope you will enjoy what I have created with Kissing Kate's lovely "Vintage Blues" kit. It is available for purchase at Pimpin' PSPers Warehouse. Often times when I think vintage, I think of Marilyn Monroe and others from "old" Hollywood.
I've created a Cluster Frame for your personal use and some Extra Tags. It is in PNG format; click then save-as.
The tags must be used as-is; they are not to be modified in any way; do not add names to them.

Supplies:
I am using PaintShop Pro XI
EyeCandy 4000 - Water Drops, Marble, Gradient Glow
Xero - Fritillary
Penta - Jeans
Tube of Choice - I used the fun artwork of Ken Morton which can not be used without a License. You may purchase the tube from CDO. http://www.cdoestore.com/

~ Here We Go ~
Open Template; duplicate; close the original.
Delete the designer's CR layer.

Select Magic Wand - Mode Add (Shift). Click inside Layer 2 and then inside Layer 3.
Add a New Layer; fill this with the Gradient.
Deselect.
Filter - Xero Fritilary: 5 / 30 / 10 / 20
Apply the same thin Black Gradient Glow as on Layer 1.

Vein Thickness: 8
Vein Roughness: 88
Bedrock Color: Orange (my color)
Vein Color: Red-Brown (my color)
Apply Drop Shadow
Layers 5 and 6 - I used the same color on both (Yellow). Color
changer would not work for me on these layers so ... Select All; Float;
Defloat; then Selections; Modify; Expand by 1; Fill.
Keep selected - now Effects / Texture / Tiles - Hexagon (default settings).
Keep selected - now Selections / Modify / Select Selections Borders:
Inside / Anti-alias checked / Border width 4
Fill the small selection with Black.
Add small Drop Shadow.

Apply the same thin Black Gradient Glow as before.
Layers 9 and 10 - Select a color; use Color Changer Tool; fill both with same.
Filter - EyeCandy 4000 Water Drops. Under Settings I chose "Little Round Drops". I did not alter any of the settings.
Copy and paste your Tube; position where you like; add Drop Shadow.
Layer 11 WordArt - I copied this as a New Document then Greyscaled (because of the outline) so that I could colorize Green.
Then I added thin Black Gradient Glow and a light Drop Shadow.
Layer 12 WordArt - I chose the Color Change Tool and filled with White. Added the Black Gradient Glow and a Drop Shadow.
I used Black for my text and applied a Medium Gradient Glow.

Our Mother Passed Away
Quite unexpectedly our Mother passed away in the early morning of Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 2012. She and my step-dad had just celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary Dec. 12th. The same week we received the devastating news ... Lung Cancer ... and it had already spread. Who knows how long Mom had been living with that. Given her dropping weight over the last year or so, I'd hazard a guess for quite awhile.
After the diagnosis the doctors gave her six months; I thought perhaps at least three, given her other health issues. So it was quite unexpected that she would pass so quickly.
I have my good days and on one of those, I made this tag using a photograph of her from the mid 1970's. Not too many years after this photo was taken, her health issues began. This photo is how she would want to be remembered ... lively; spirited; looking great; and good health.

Alex Prihodko
If you are on Facebook with me, or in one of the forums that I'm in then you already know why I haven't been around. Been home a few days now and actually felt like trying to make something - this is what I came up with. The FTU kit is from Misfits. The gorgeous girl is by Alex Prihodko and she was gifted to me.

Carlos Cartagena
Hey ... who needs "Visa" when they have "Santa"? I saw this template from Kan-Dee and immediately thought of this wonderful art by Carlos Cartagena. I picked it up when PTE was closing and happens to be on my list of non-tagged-tubes. I also used a CDO free kit which you can get from their blog.
