Backwards Birthday

Instead of buying my sister a birthday card, I decided to try and make her one in "digital scrapping".

The card came out pretty enough; I liked it and so did hubby. I really liked that it only took me about two days to make it - that's good for me.

What was 'backwards' about it ... when I printed it, I printed on the wrong side - it opened backwards. OMG ... but then I thought ... hmmmm ... I can take advantage of the "old age" thing and make it a funny card. Thank heavens I began this early because my brain just wasn't coming up with anything funny for the inside. Then a very good online friend with a sassy sense of humor helped me out.

My sister thanked me for the card; appreciated the fact that I took the time to "make" one ... but didn't say if it gave her a "chuckle" or not. Oh well.

Silver Anniversary

December 12th my parents celebrated their 25th Anniversary. I thought I would try my hand at creating a card for them. I used the Wedding scrapkit from "Monti's Pixel Playground". I was a little disappointed in the photograph - but it is from 1982 and it is a scanned image.

My parents loved it and appreciated the time that I took to make it.
